Booking & Enquiry Terms | Aamees Paradise
Enquiry, confirmation, deposits and cancellation terms for stays, events and arranged experiences at Aamees Paradise.
These Booking & Enquiry Terms apply to stays, events and experiences at Aamees Paradise, a serviced villa in Chavara, Kollam, Kerala. Sending a form on this website is an enquiry, not a reservation. A booking exists only after we send a written confirmation of dates, occupancy or guest count, and the amount payable. Percentages below apply to that confirmed amount. Rates are not published on the website and are agreed in that confirmation.
Stay confirmation. To confirm a stay we ask for a 40% deposit of the confirmed stay amount. The remaining 60% is payable on or before check-in. Check-in is 2:00 PM to 6:30 PM. Check-out is 11:00 AM. Different times may be agreed in writing when you enquire.
Stay cancellation and date changes (percentage of the amount you have already paid). If you cancel 15 days or more before check-in, 80% of the amount paid is refunded and 20% is retained. If you cancel 7 to 14 days before check-in, 50% is refunded. If you cancel fewer than 7 days before check-in, or you do not arrive, the amount paid is not refunded. One date change made 7 days or more before check-in may be agreed without treating it as a cancellation, subject to availability; later changes are treated as a cancellation plus a new enquiry.
Event confirmation. To hold the Event Auditorium or Conference Room we ask for a 50% deposit of the confirmed event amount. The remaining 50% is payable at least 7 days before the event date, unless the confirmation says otherwise. Capacity for the Event Auditorium is up to 500 people. Conference Room capacity is confirmed on enquiry.
Event cancellation (percentage of the amount you have already paid). If you cancel 21 days or more before the event, 70% of the amount paid is refunded. If you cancel 8 to 20 days before, 40% is refunded. If you cancel 7 days or fewer before the event, the amount paid is not refunded. Moving an event date is agreed in writing and may be treated as a cancellation of the original date if the new date cannot be held.
Experiences. Backwater cruise, fishing, cycling, lagoon exploration, lake walks and cooking experiences are arranged on request. They are not instant tours and Aamees Paradise does not claim to operate boats, bicycles or fishing equipment in-house. If a third-party provider is used, their terms may also apply and will be stated when we confirm. If you cancel an experience 48 hours or more before the agreed time, 100% of the experience amount paid to Aamees Paradise is refunded unless it has already been passed to a provider. If you cancel with fewer than 48 hours’ notice, 50% of that experience amount is retained.
Occupancy and extra guests. The 1-BHK Entire Villa has a standard occupancy of 3 guests. Each AC Guest Room has a standard occupancy of 2 guests. Extra guests may be accepted for an additional charge, confirmed when you enquire. Children count toward occupancy. A government-issued photo ID may be asked at check-in.
House rules. Smoking is allowed only in outdoor areas. Pets are not permitted unless agreed in writing before arrival. Alcohol for a private stay is the guest’s responsibility and must comply with Kerala law; event arrangements are confirmed separately. Guests are responsible for damage beyond ordinary wear; the cost of repair or replacement of confirmed damage is payable in addition to the stay or event amount.
Payment, refunds and disputes. This website does not take online payment. How you pay the deposit and balance (bank transfer or another method we name in the confirmation) is stated when we confirm. Refunds, where due under the percentages above, are returned by the same method where practical, within 14 days after we accept the cancellation in writing. Taxes, if applicable, are stated in the confirmation. These terms are governed by the laws of India, and the courts at Kollam, Kerala have jurisdiction.
